NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Danville, Calif. native\u00a0Alexis “Lexi” DePaco\u00a0<\/strong>has recently announced her in-state verbal commitment to the University of California, San Diego beginning in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Primarily a butterflyer and IMer, DePaco does her club swimming with Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks and owns four Junior National standards. This past summer, she earned bronze in the 100m fly at Santa Clarita Sectionals and collected three gold medals at Far Westerns last April.<\/p>\n

A current junior at San Ramon Valley High School, DePaco is a four-time CIF State Championship finalist. The NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American finished eighth in the 100 fly and 12th in the 50 free as a sophomore while taking 12th and 14th, respectively, in those events during her freshman season.<\/p>\n
