The International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) is proud to announce that this year\u2019s 56th<\/sup> annual Honoree Induction Ceremony will be dedicated to\u00a0 Marjory Stoneman Douglas senior, Nicholas Dworet<\/strong>, who was among the\u00a017 victims shot and killed at the Parkland High School, February 14, 2018, two years ago today in South Florida\u2019s most horrific mass shooting<\/a> in history.<\/p>\n

Dworet was a swimmer at Stoneman Douglas and had planned to swim at the University of Indianapolis.\u00a0 \u201cHe dreamed of making the Olympic swim team and going to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo,\u201d his family said in a statement released shortly after his death.<\/p>\n

\n<\/em>Even on my hardest days I swear to give it my all and I will let nothing stand in my way.\u201d<\/em>
