NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Boise, Idaho\u2019s Nathan Quarterman <\/strong>has announced his verbal pledge to the University of Texas and will join\u00a0Luke Hobson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Anthony Grimm<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Austin as a member of the Longhorns\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

His father, Ken Quarterman<\/strong>, also swam at Texas in the late 1980s.<\/p>\n

Quarterman, who owns a pair of U.S. Open standards, does his club swimming with the Boise YMCA and recently placed sixth in the 200 back and 18th in the 100 back at Juniors West in December. This past summer, he earned a best time at Mount Hood Sectionals before going on to race three events at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
