FORT LAUDERDALE, Sept. 17. A man armed with a stun gun tried to carjack a customer walking out of the Sawgrass Mills mall on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 11, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel<\/b> reported. <\/p>\n
According to the newspaper, Oliver Agh, 27, of Boca Raton, a 1996 Olympic swimmer for Hungary, was getting into his car outside the Target store when a man shocked him with a stun gun and grabbed for his keys, said Sunrise Police Lt. Charles Vitale. The shock did not knock Agh down, so the man stunned him again. When Agh continued to struggle, the man ran away, Vitale said.<\/p>\n
Officers set up a perimeter around the mall, and a plainclothes officer caught the suspect, Douglas Stoehner, 38, of Fort Lauderdale, near Rooms To Go, Vitale said. Agh identified Stoehner as the man who attacked him and Stoehner showed officers where he dumped the stun gun, Vitale said.
