The RFP details what Middle Atlantic is looking to achieve as well as a timeframe for the partnership. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamunify.com\/team\/ezmaslsc\/page\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Middle Atlantic<\/a> would like to receive proposals by February 29, 2020 and formally enter into an agreement beginning April 1, 2020. Marketing and promotion firms from inside and outside of the Middle Atlantic LSC are welcomed to submit proposals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just makes sense,\u201d says <strong>Jamie Platt<\/strong>, General Chair of the Middle Atlantic Board of Directors. \u201cWe have a great swimming community of quality athletes, coaches, and officials who we feel can benefit from this. As a Board, we continually search for ways to be great advocates for our membership. This is another way for us to do just that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is something that has been on the Board\u2019s radar for quite some time,\u201d adds <strong>Matthew Sprang<\/strong>, Performance Vice-Chair for Middle Atlantic Swimming. \u201cThrough a strategic planning session the Board held in the fall, we identified the marketing and promotion, both internally and externally, of our athletes, clubs, coaches, and volunteers as a top priority. We are ready to take the next steps to make that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>About Middle Atlantic<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>Middle Atlantic Swimming (MA Swimming) is one of 59 Local Swimming Committees (LSCs) of USA Swimming, the official governing body of competitive swimming in the United States. The Middle Atlantic LSC consists of Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and all of Delaware. We have over 134 member clubs, 11,000+ athletes and 1,200+ officials, coaches and non-athlete members.\u00a0Our LSC, comprised of the whole state of Delaware and southern New Jersey to central Pennsylvania, is driven by our\u00a0<strong>Our Mission:<\/strong>\u00a0Middle Atlantic Swimming advocates the growth and development of a diverse swimming community through education, innovation and a commitment to excellence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Vision:<\/strong>\u00a0Strong leaders. We value integrity, fairness, leadership, innovation, and creativity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Tradition of Excellence:<\/strong>\u00a0Of the 200 clubs awarded by the USA Swimming Excellence Program in 2018, 12 were from MA Swimming &#8211;\u00a0 Of over 3,000 USA Swimming clubs, 25 of the top 500 are part of Middle Atlantic Swimming.\u00a0 Middle Atlantic Swimming has also had one athlete on each Olympic team since 1952.<\/p>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Parties interested in submitting proposals can do so via email to Matthew Sprang (Performance@maswim.org).
