Register Now &#8211; And Don&#8217;t Forget To Enter Your Dog, Too!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you ready to take the plunge in one of the finest swim settings out there?<strong> Swim Miami<\/strong> is back at the <strong>Miami Marine Stadium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Set in an amazing pristine, generally calm water environment that will definitely allow for all ages and abilities to enjoy the fast-growing sport of Open Water Swimming. Challenge yourself to one of four amazing races: <strong>800M, The Miami Mile, The 5K swim, or the 10K swim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If that&#8217;s not enough, bring your dogs along for the world famous <strong>K-9 Krawl World Championships,<\/strong> a human\/dog duathlon where owner and dog swim 200 yards and run 400 yards. Overall Top 3 Male and Female awarded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">TIME LIMITS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 10K Swim: 4 hours<\/li>\n<li>The 5K Swim: 2 hours<\/li>\n<li>The Miami Mile: 1 hour<\/li>\n<li>The 800M Swim: 30 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>SWIM DETAILS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sanctioned By: World Open Water Swim Association \u2013 WOWSA<\/li>\n<li>Member of the WOWSA World 1 Mile Series.<\/li>\n<li>Wetsuits: Wetsuits are allowed but only if you marked it on your registration.<\/li>\n<li>Water Temperature: 81-82 degrees (F)<\/li>\n<li>Safety: Current World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) rules will govern this meet. Safety rules as outlined by WOWSA and as recommended by the referee, will be in effect.<\/li>\n<li>Water Entry: This event will employ an in-water start and beach finish. All entries will be feet first and controlled by the safety officer. There are no racing dives permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Hydration Station: There will be a hydration station available with electrolytes and water.
