NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>East Carolina University has earned their first verbal commitment for the fall of 2021 from in-state standout Reece Alexander <\/strong>of Pfafftown, N.C.<\/p>\n

Alexander, who owns the Winter Juniors cut in the 100 fly, does her club swimming with Northwest North Carolina YMCA Riptyde and most recently won the 100 fly at the 27th Arena Capital Classic last month. She finaled in the 50m fly this past summer at YMCA LCM Nationals and raced both fly events at YMCA SCY Nationals last April. A current junior at Ronald Reagan High School, Alexander finished 13th in the 100 fly at the North Carolina 4A State Championships during her sophomore season after placing sixth in that event as a freshman.<\/p>\n
