The SEC weekly honors for swimming and diving were announced on Tuesday, led by Camden Murphy, Courtney Harnish<\/strong> and Kensey McMahon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week: Camden Murphy, Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Georgia\u2019s Camden Murphy, a junior from Novi, Mich., recorded 18 points in Georgia\u2019s win over No. 4 Texas A&M. Murphy swept the butterfly events, posting NCAA B-cut times in the 100 (47.27) and the 200 (1:45.54). In addition to his individual victories, he helped lead the Bulldogs\u2019 400 freestyle relay team to a meet-clinching win, posting a 44.93 split on the second leg. Murphy also swam a split of 20.95 on the butterfly leg of Georgia\u2019s runner-up finish in the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n

SEC Weekly Honors: Men\u2019s Diver of the Week: Kurtis Matthews, Texas A&M<\/strong><\/p>\n

Texas A&M\u2019s Kurtis Matthews, a junior from Albury, Australia, swept the springboard events at No. 11 Georgia. Matthews recorded top scores of 398.85 in the 1-meter and 447.53 in the 3-meter.<\/p>\n

SEC Weekly Honors: Men\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Brooks Curry, LSU<\/strong><\/p>\n

LSU\u2019s Brooks Curry, a freshman from Atlanta, Ga., totaled three individual wins against No. 7 Missouri and Delta State. Curry won both freestyle events against Missouri with top times of 43.96 in the 100 free and 1:36.93 in 200 free. Against Delta State, he won the 100 back (48.66). Curry was on the winning 200 free relay against Missouri and the 400 free relay against Delta State.<\/p>\n

SEC Weekly Honors: Women\u2019s Co-Swimmers of the Week: Kensey McMahon, Alabama and Courtney Harnish, Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alabama\u2019s Kensey McMahon, a sophomore from Jacksonville, Fla., won three individual events as Alabama earned a 180-120 victory over Florida State. McMahon placed first in the 200 free (1:49.25), the 500 free (4:47.31) and the 1650 free (16:24.00). Her NCAA B-cut time in the 1650 was the fastest time by nearly 40 seconds.<\/p>\n

Georgia\u2019s Courtney Harnish, a junior from York, Pa., placed first in three individual events as well as a relay as Georgia defeated No. 19 Texas A&M. Harnish went 4-for-4 in her races with a sweep of her individual freestyle events, touching the wall first in the 200 free (1:47.49), the 500 free (4:49.62) and the 1000 free (9:59.12). She also swam a split of 50.68 as a part of the winning 400 free relay.<\/p>\n

SEC Weekly Honors: Women\u2019s Diver of the Week: Alison Maillard, Auburn<\/strong><\/p>\n

Auburn\u2019s Alison Maillard, a senior from Houston, Texas, won both diving events to score 18 points for the Tigers in their 202-93 win over Georgia Tech. Maillard earned NCAA zone-qualifying scores in both events. Her 347.55 points in the 3-meter competition was her second-highest score of the season. She also posted a score of 310.50 in the 1-meter.<\/p>\n

SEC Weekly Honors: Women\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Talia Bates, Florida<\/strong><\/p>\n

Florida\u2019s Talia Bates, a freshman from Gainesville, Fla., posted two individual wins and was a part of a winning relay in the quad meet wins over Vanderbilt, Liberty and North Florida. Bates touched the wall first in the 100 back (54.44) and the 100 fly (54.45) and swam a 48.94 split as a part of the first-place 400 free relay.<\/p>\n
