NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Texas has earned a new verbal commitment for their growing class of 2025 from Scottsdale, Arizona’s\u00a0Morgan Brophy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She will arrive in Austin at the start of the 2021-22 season along with\u00a0Ellie Andrews <\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Olivia McMurray<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brophy, who owns five Junior National standards, does her club swimming with Scottsdale Aquatic Club and most recently finished 11th in the 100 fly at Juniors West in December. This past summer, she had three top-10 finishes at Des Moines Futures and notched four best times at Carlsbad Sectionals last short course season. A current junior at Chaparral High School, Brophy helped her team win the overall Arizona DI State Championship title while earning gold in the 100 fly and 200 IM. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice in her career.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n
