This past summer, he registered three top-8 finishes at Jenks Sectionals before going on to earn a best time at Junior Nationals. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/daniel-worth-crushes-jeff-commings-28-year-old-state-record-at-missouri-boys-class-2-meet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">broke a 28-year-old state record<\/a> in the 100 breast as a junior while defending his title in the 200 IM. He won the 100 breast and 200 IM during his sophomore season after placing first and eighth, respectively, in those events during his rookie campaign.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 breast &#8211; 25.23<\/li>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 53.53<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 1:59.21<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:49.39<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 3:54.93<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even with 1.5 years of club swimming still to go before suiting up for the Hoos, Worth will make an immediate impact in their breaststroke training group.
