Photographer Delly Carr<\/strong> lives and breathes for those special moments in sports that capture the exact milli-second of an athlete in flight, in fierce competition, those rare behind the scenes training moments that depict the emotion, the pain and the gain.<\/p>\n

The light, the shadows, the sun and the darkness help shape those images that only the athlete and the photographer can relate to.<\/p>\n

Delly is the official photographer of the Australian Dolphins Swim Team and has spent 2019 capturing those rare moments from couch to camp, from pool deck to podium and from dawn till dust.<\/p>\n

He is affectionately known as \u201cThe Ninja\u201d \u2013 now you seen him \u2013 now you don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

The man behind the lens has been there for all of the magical moments and all the behind the scenes moments, travelling the world with the Dolphins from Adelaide and Brisbane, onto Cairns and Gwangju and London and it\u2019s only fitting that Swimming World publishing his most popular snaps from the past 12 months to celebrate 2019.<\/p>\n

Says Delly\u2026\u201dThe sports photographer puts a little of his own self into his grand vision and ultimately the exhibition of that captured moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
