NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The United States Naval Academy has gained a new commitment for their class of 2024 from Greenville, N.C. native\u00a0Trevor Torres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Torres, who owns a pair of Junior National standards, does his club swimming with East Carolina Aquatics and placed 18th in the 50m free this past summer at Greensboro Futures after recording three best times at North Carolina LCM Seniors. Last winter, he raced three events at North Carolina SCY Seniors where he notched a lifetime best and finaled in the 50 free.<\/p>\n

Also competing for DH Conley High School, Torres is a four-time North Carolina 3A State Championship finalist. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American grabbed bronze in the 100 free and took fourth in the 50 free as a junior while placing eighth in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 breast during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
