He placed 12th in the 1500m free with three additional top-20 finishes at Geneva Futures this past summer after earning six best times at Mid-Atlantic LCM Seniors. Schalick High School, Simms placed ninth in the 500 free at the New Jersey Meet of Champions during his sophomore season and has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for his efforts.
