NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Chatham, Ontario, Canadanian butterflyer Genevieve “Gigi” Sasseville\u00a0<\/strong>has announced via\u00a0CollegeSwimming\u00a0<\/em>her decision to attend the University of Southern California beginning in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Sasseville swims year-round with the Chatham Y Pool Sharks and finished seventh in the 100m fly at the 7th FINA World Junior Championships in Budapest while representing Team Canada. Last summer, she earned silver in the 100m fly and bronze in the 200m fly at the Canadian Swimming Championships after winning the former event at the Ontario Championships. She finished seventh in the 50m fly, 10th in the 100m fly, and 13th in the 200m fly at Canadian Trials in April before earning three gold medals at the Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n
