NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Wisconsin has added a new verbal commitment to their growing class of 2025 from Davis, Calif. breaststroker Natalie Bercutt. She\u2019ll join Katie<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>McClintock\u00a0<\/strong>and Abby Carlson<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as well as\u00a0Nation\u2019s Capital teammates\u00a0Mackenzie McConagha\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Paige McKenna<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Bercutt, who swims year-round with UCD Aquamonsters, owns the Olympic Trials cut in both breaststroke events. She placed 18th in the 100m breast and 200m breast at Junior Nationals this past summer after earning silver in both of those events at Mount Hood Futures. Last winter, she earned seven best times at NCSAs where her highest finish was a 24th-place showing in the 100 breast.<\/p>\n

A current junior at Davis Senior High School, Bercutt is a four-time CIF Sac-Joaquin Section finalist. She won the 100 breast and placed 12th in the 200 IM as during her sophomore season while taking fourth and sixth, respectively, in those events as a freshman. She has also raced at the CIF State Championships both seasons.<\/p>\n
