KRAEMER<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Throw in Hosszu (Iron), the Netherlands <strong>Kira Toussaint<\/strong> (Iron) and Denmark\u2019s <strong>Mie Nielsen<\/strong> (Iron) and all three world records over 50, 100 and 200m could well be under siege.<\/p>\n<p>Roar will be without several members of their Australian contingent \u2013 in particular team captain <strong>Kyle Chalmers<\/strong> as well as breaststrokers <strong>Matt Wilson<\/strong> and <strong>Jess Hansen<\/strong> and Gold Coast freestylers <strong>Elijah Winnington<\/strong> and <strong>Cam McEvoy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But enter British pair, Commonwealth Games gold medallists \u2013 the versatile duo of <strong>Dunc Scott<\/strong> and <strong>Siobhan-Marie O\u2019Connor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chalmers, who scored a combined 72 in the first two matches, including a win in the all-important skins event in Budapest, has been one of the Roar\u2019s top performers so far.<\/p>\n<p>However, Chalmers\u2019 absence in London will open the door for Scott to jump in and make an impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe guy (Kyle) is a machine so I think that is a tough ask,\u201d joked Scott.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_324938\" style=\"width: freestyle gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, is open to swim whatever he\u2019s asked, including the Skins \u2013 the three-round 50 freestyle eliminator that can score up to triple points \u2013 and is sure to feature the big two Russian <strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> (Iron) and flying Frenchman <strong>Florent Manaudou<\/strong> (Energy Standard).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe skins events have been a great spectacle,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m not bothered by what I\u2019m racing, whatever role I have I\u2019ll take it and be grateful to be a part of the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outside of freestyle, where he was the 200m freestyle World Championship bronze medallist, Scott can swim a wide range of events, including individual medley and butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of who Scott is looking forward to facing off with in London, it\u2019s the athletes he\u2019s usually competing alongside with who get him the most excited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019ll be a good opportunity to race some of the British guys that are in other ISL teams that I\u2019m usually teammates with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Connor, the dual Olympian and silver medallist to Hosszu is one of the world\u2019s finest IMers and is also a class breaststroker.<\/p>\n<p>Roar boss <strong>Rob Woodhouse<\/strong> says this weekend\u2019s round \u201cshould be an interesting one to decide the ISL European champion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main priority is to ensure qualification for the final in Vegas so we will focus on that,\u201d said Woodhouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we will definitely be looking to win the match against what will be some pretty tough competition.\u00a0 The addition of Duncan Scott and Siobhan-Marie O\u2019Connor coming into the team this weekend will help us, though we are a little weaker on the men\u2019s side with a number of big names missing including Kyle Chalmers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Woodhouse said the ISL so far has been great.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe swimmers absolutely love the team concept and the production of the event is unprecedented for the sport which makes it such a great spectacle,\u201d said the two-time Olympian ands respected international sports manager and commentator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fans are loving it also.\u00a0 The potential is there to establish the ISL as a commercially successful league, but there\u2019s still a lot of hard work to be done to get to this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And the future in Australia?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s unlikely there will be an Australian team in the ISL, I have heard some discussion about potentially hosting a match Down Under,\u201d said Woodhouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom a London Roar perspective we\u2019d love to host a match in Australia given the strong Aussie contingent on the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And word from inside the ISL is that organisers are potentially looking at an Australian venue for the 2020 ISL Grand
