NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Georgia Tech has received a new in-state verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season beyond from sprint freestyler Grant Allison\u00a0<\/strong>of Atlanta, Ga.<\/p>\n

Allison, who owns the Summer Juniors standard in the 50 free and the U.S. Open cut in the 100 free, does his club swimming with Spartans Aquatic Club and finished 17th in the 100m free at Junior Nationals this past summer after winning that event at Georgia LCM Seniors. Last winter, he recorded a best time at Juniors East before going on to finish 11th in the 50 free at Southern Zones. Also competing for Dunwoody High School, Allison is a six-time Georgia 6A\/7A State Championships. He won the 100 free and was the 50 free runner-up as a junior while racing to third in both of those events during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
