NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Norman, Okla. native\u00a0Daniel Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Missouri and will suit up for the Tigers in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Wilson, who owns three U.S. Open standards, swims year-round with Sooner Swim Club and placed 21st in the 50m free this past summer at Junior Nationals after winning that event at Jenks Sectionals. Last winter, he earned three gold medals at the Oklahoma SCY Championships before going on to take silver in the 50 fly at Columbia Sectionals. Also competing for Norman High School North, Wilson\u00a0won the 100 fly and was the 50 free runner-up at the Oklahoma State Championships as a junior.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I’m so pumped to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Missouri!!! I’m so grateful for my family, friends,\u00a0 and coaches that helped me through it all! Go Tigers!”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
