Last winter, she earned a pair of best times at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals and raced three events at the Speedo Grand Challenge. Also competing for San Juan Hills High School, Gleason is a three-time CIF Southern DI Section Championship finalist, most recently placing 13th in the 50 free and 14th in the 100 free during her junior season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>&#8220;I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swimming career to CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO! I want to thank my family, coaches, friends, and teammates for their support! Go Mustangs!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 24.18<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 52.66<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:57.08<\/li>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:07.39<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:25.05<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gleason will add valuable freestyle and breaststroke depth when she arrives as a member of the class of 2024.
