NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Freestyler and IMer\u00a0Gwen Woodbury\u00a0<\/strong>of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. has announced her verbal commitment to The Ohio State University and will suit up for the Buckeyes in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Woodbury does her club swimming with Motor City Aquatics and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 200m free with the Junior National standard in the 100m free. She achieved four best times at Cleveland Sectionals this past summer where her highest finish was a fourth-place showing in the 200m free. Last winter, she raced nine events and finaled in the 200 free at NCSAs.<\/p>\n

A current junior at Cranbrook Kingswood High School, Woodbury is already a four-time Michigan DIII State Championship finalist. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was the runner-up in the 100 free and 200 free during her sophomore season after winning both of those events as a freshman.<\/p>\n
