NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Backstroker\u00a0Aidan Lohr\u00a0<\/strong>of Baraboo, Wis. has pledged his verbal commitment to the University of Iowa and will suit up for the Hawkeyes in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Lohr swims year-round with Badger Aquatics Club under head coach Drew Walden<\/strong> and owns a pair of Summer Juniors standards. He capped off his summer season with 100% best times at Wisconsin LCM States where his highest finish was a runner-up showing in the 100m back. Last winter, he won the 100 back at Wisconsin SCY States before going on to final in all three backstroke events at NCSAs. Also competing for Baraboo High School, Lohr is a six-time Wisconsin DII State Championship finalist. He earned silver in the 100 back and 200 IM as a junior after grabbing bronze in both of those events during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
