The Longhorn men took home 12 wins, including both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving contests. After the 3.5-hour drive, Texas women won nine events, including a 1-2 finish in both the 1000 free and 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team Scores:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Men: Texas 181, Texas A&amp;M 111<\/li>\n<li>Women: Texas 165, Texas A&amp;M 133<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2019-texas-vs-texas-aandm-ncaa-college-2019-11-01.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RESULTS<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Texas Swimming and Diving Press Release<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Longhorns went 1-3 in the 1650 freestyle with <strong>Jack Collins<\/strong> (14:57.60) in first, followed by <strong>Alex Zettle<\/strong> (14.59.02) and <strong>Chris Yeager<\/strong> (15:04.38).<\/li>\n<li>Texas placed first and second in the 3-meter diving contest with <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> (415.43) in first, followed by <strong>Grayson Campbell<\/strong> (392.85). Windle also won the 1-meter dive (362.77).<\/li>\n<li>The men took the top three spots in the 200 freestyle, <a href=\"https:\/\/texassports.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=9524\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong><\/a> (1:35.84) took first, <strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> (1:36.28) took second, and <strong>Matt Willenbring<\/strong> (1:37.68) took third<\/li>\n<li><strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> had two wins on the evening, taking home the 100 (54.62) and 200 (1:57.65) breaststroke<\/li>\n<li>Texas took the top three spots in the 500 free, <a href=\"https:\/\/texassports.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=9494\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong><\/a> in first (4:26.39), <strong>Alex Zettle<\/strong> in second (4:27.60), and <strong>JohnThomas Larson<\/strong> in third (4:31.04).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Women<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kelly Pash<\/strong> ended the night with three wins; the 200 butterfly (1:55.67), 100 butterfly (52.76), and the 200 IM (1:58.55). <strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> added a second-place finish in the 200 IM (1:59.91).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alison Gibson<\/strong> took first in the 1-meter diving contest (310.50) and second in the 3-meter with a score of 344.18.<\/li>\n<li>Texas went 1-2 in the 100 back with Julia Cook (52.95) taking home first, followed by <strong>Claire Adams<\/strong> (53.15)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Julia Cook<\/strong> also won the 100 freestyle (49.45)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bridget Semenuk<\/strong> won the 50 and 200 freestyle with times of 22.78 and 1:48.36, respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The Longhorns went 1-2 in the 1000 freestyle, <strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> in first (9:52.92), and <strong>Miranda Heckman<\/strong> in second (9:54.53).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mary Smutny<\/strong> won the 500 free with a time of 4:52.83<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Texas A&amp;M Release<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The No. 7 Texas A&amp;M Aggies men&#8217;s swimming &amp; diving team fell to the No. 2 Texas Longhorns at the Rec Center Natatorium Friday night. Texas came away with the victory, with a final score of 181-111.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/12thman.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=7567\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Shaine Casas<\/strong><\/a> led the way for the Maroon &amp; White and finished in the top three multiple times Friday. Casas placed first in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:43.36, as well as the 100 Butterfly, logging a time of 47.34. Benjamin Walker also performed well for the Aggies, earning a second-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke. <strong>Adam Koster<\/strong> and <strong>Mike Thibert<\/strong> earned top-three finishes in the 50 Free.<\/p>\n<p>In Friday night&#8217;s diving events, the Aggies posted another solid performance. Kurtis Mathews led the way for A&amp;M in the 1-Meter dive, posting a score of 361.80 and earning a second-place finish, while <strong>Victor Povzner<\/strong> recorded a score of 316.50 and placed third. Matthews also placed third in the 3-Meter dive (387.01).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No. 16 Texas A&amp;M women&#8217;s swimming &amp; diving fell to No. 8 Texas, 165-133, in an exciting rivalry meet at the Rec Center Natatorium Friday night. The Aggies battled throughout the night but were unable to steal the advantage.<\/p>\n<p>The women had a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 Breast with <strong>Anna Belousova<\/strong> notching first (1:02.02), <strong>Kylie Powers<\/strong> finishing second (1:03.66) and <strong>Caroline Theil<\/strong> earning third (1:03.77). That was one of three first-place finishes for Belousova, earning first in the 200 Breast (2:14.38) and as part of the 200 Medley Relay (1:38.97).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlye Campbell<\/strong> notched first in the 3-Meter (362.62), knocking down the reigning NCAA Champion from Texas. <strong>Haley Allen<\/strong> earned second in the 1-Meter (285.52), while <strong>Alyssa Clairmont<\/strong> placed third (278.11).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Texas Swimming and Diving team defeated Texas A&amp;M on Friday night in College Station.
