NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Providence College has gained a new verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from Ashburn, Va. butterflyer and freestyler\u00a0Katie Winklosky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Winklosky swims year-round with Nation’s Capital Swim Club and capped off her summer long course season by racing five events at NCSAs after finaling in the 100m fly at Potomac Valley LCM Seniors. Last winter, she was the 500 free runner-up at Potomac Valley SCY Seniors and notched a lifetime best at NCSAs.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Briar Woods High School, Winklosky is a five-time Virginia 5A State Championship finalist. She finished ninth in the 200 free and 11th in the 100 fly as a junior while racing to 10th and 12th, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
