NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The Lady Vols have landed their fifth early verbal commitment for the class of 2025 from\u00a0Lauren Wetherell\u00a0<\/strong>of Market Drayton, Great Britain. She\u2019ll arrive in Knoxville for the start of the 2021-22 season along with\u00a0Summer Eaker<\/strong><\/a>, Josephine Fuller<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Summer Smith<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Asia Minnes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wetherell swims year-round with\u00a0Ellesmere College Titans and also represents the British Swimming Federation. She most recently placed eighth in the 800m free at the LEN European Junior Championships in July after earning gold in the 400m free at the Scottish National Age Group Championships. At the Scottish National Open in 2018, she was the runner-up in the 1500m free and earned seven best times.<\/p>\n
