Last winter she raced both breaststroke events at Winter Nationals, finished 13th in the 200 breast at Juniors East, and recorded three top-8 finishes at Indianapolis Sectionals.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Community School of Davidson, Nelson has won the 100 breast and 200 IM at the North Carolina 1A\/2A State Championships each of her three high school seasons thus far. Last season, she was named the meet&#8217;s Most Outstanding Swimmer after setting a new class mark in the 200 IM. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice in her career thus far.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:01.76<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:14.55<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:00.70<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:20.57<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When she suits up for the Aggies as a member of the class of 2024, Nelson will add her talents to a training group led by\u00a0<strong>Anna Belousova <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Caroline Theil<\/strong>.
