NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Brecksville, Ohio, native\u00a0Riley McNichols\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her in-state verbal commitment to Bowling Green State University and will suit up for the Falcons as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

She will join her siblings as NCAA swimmers: her older sister, Macie McNichols<\/strong>, swam at Ohio State and her older brother, Tyler McNichols<\/strong>, competed for the College of Wooster.<\/p>\n

McNichols does her club swimming with Cleveland Sports Institute and most recently earned a pair of best times at Geneva Futures this past summer after placing 10th in the 100m free at Lake Eries LCM Seniors. Last winter, she raced five events at Lake Erie SCY Seniors before going on to earn a trio of lifetime bests at Indianapolis Sectionals.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, McNichols has qualified for the Ohio State Championships each of her three high school seasons thus far. She is a three-time CSCAA 2018-19 All-American as a member of the 4×50 medley relay, 4×50 free relay, and 4×100 free relay and also owns school records in those three events.<\/p>\n
