NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>New Albany, Ohio, native\u00a0Mia Lachey\u00a0<\/strong>will stay in state for her college career after verbally committing to the Buckeyes as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

No stranger to the Buckeye’s program, Lachey swims year-round with Ohio State Swim Club and most recently finaled in the 200m free at Cleveland Sectionals this past summer after taking ninth in the 200m IM at Ohio LCM Seniors. Last winter, she led off two relays at Juniors East before going on to race five events at Indianapolis Sectionals.<\/p>\n

Also competing for New Albany High School, Lachey is a five-time Ohio State Championship finalist. She placed 11th in the 200 IM and 13th in the 100 free as a junior after finishing 10th in both the 100 free and 200 free during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
