NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Sprint freestyler and butterflyer\u00a0Mia Brown\u00a0<\/strong>of Dublin, Ohio, has announced her verbal commitment to Georgetown University and will suit up for the Hoyas as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Brown swims year-round with Ohio State Swim Club for coach\u00a0Kyle Goodrich\u00a0<\/strong>and most recently earned a best time in the 100m fly this past summer at Geneva Futures after placing fifth in the 50m fly and sixth in the 50m free at Ohio LCM Seniors. Last winter, she earned gold in the 50 free and silver in the 100 fly at the Ned Reeb Invitational before going on to race three events at Indianapolis Sectionals.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Bishop Watterson, Brown has competed at the Ohio State Championships each of her three high school seasons thus far. Her highest finish at the state level as been a ninth-place showing in the 50 free during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
