She&#8217;ll arrive in Knoxville for the start of the 2021-22 season along with\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tennessee-earns-2021-verbal-from-national-junior-teamer-summer-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Summer Smith<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/canadian-junior-champion-asia-minnes-verbally-commits-to-lady-vols-for-2021-22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Asia Minnes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fuller, who has already achieved the Olympic Trials cut in the 100 back, does her club swimming with NOVA of Virginia Aquatics. She finished 14th in the 100m back at Junior Nationals after earning a trio of best times at Virginia LCM Seniors this past summer. Last winter she raced three events at Juniors East, registered five top-10 finishes at Virginia SCY Seniors, and finished 14th in the 100 back at NCSAs.<\/p>\n<p>A current junior at Glen Allen High School, Fuller is a three-time Virginia 5A State Championship finalist and has earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice in her career thus far. She finished fourth in both the 50 free and 100 back as a sophomore after finishing sixth in the latter during her freshman season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>&#8220;I am so honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at the University of Tennessee!! Thank you to my family, friends, and coaches for helping me get to where I am today. I cannot wait to be a Lady Vol!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 back \u2013 54.43<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:59.19<\/li>\n<li>100 fly \u2013 55.64<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 51.16<\/li>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 1:04.55<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even with just under two years of club swimming still to go before suiting up for the Lady Vols in the fall of 2021, Fuller will add valuable depth to their backstroke group led by <strong>Bailey Grinter<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Danika Katzer<\/strong>.
