Last winter she earned three best times at Juniors West, finished 13th in the 200 breast at Illinois SCY Seniors, and raced seven events at NCSAs.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for West Chicago Community, Sego has competed at the Illinois State Championships each of her three high school seasons thus far. The two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American\u00a0placed eighth in the 100 back and ninth in the 200 IM during her junior season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>&#8220;I\u2019m excited to announce that I have verbally committed to continue my academic and athletic career at Missouri State University. Stepping on campus and meeting the coaches and team, I knew MSU was the place for me. I\u2019d like to thank everyone who has helped me in the decision. Bear up!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 26.21<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 55.37<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:03.33<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:05.17<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sego will make an immediate impact for Missouri State starting next season.
