NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Moore, S.C. native\u00a0Rebecca Martin\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to Denison University and will arrive in Granville, Ohio at the start of the 2020-21 season.<\/p>\n

Martin swims year-round with Y-Spartaquatics Swim Club under head coach D<\/strong>an Mascolo<\/strong> and most recently earned four best times at YMCA LCM Nationals this past summer. At the South Carolina SCY Championships, she finished 20th in the 1000 free and 23rd in the 200 fly.<\/p>\n

Also competing for James F. Byrnes High School, Martin is a six-time South Carolina 5A State Championship finalist. She placed sixth in the 200 IM and 10th in the 500 free as a junior after racing to ninth in the 200 IM and 16th in the 100 back during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
