NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Bowling Green State University has picked up a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Gabby Vitela<\/strong> of Woodbury, Minn.<\/p>\n

Vitela does her club swimming with Mako Aquatics under head coach\u00a0Bob Young\u00a0<\/strong>and most recently earned three best times at NCSAs this past summer after placing fourth in both the 800m free and 1500m free at Minnesota LCM Seniors. Last winter, she recorded a lifetime best in the mile at Minnesota SCY Seniors before going on to race six events at NCSAs. Also competing for Woodbury High School, Vitela finished 15th in the 500 free as a sophomore at the Minnesota Class AA State Championships.<\/p>\n
