NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Frederick, Md. native Samantha Casolo<\/strong>, who owns the Winter Juniors cut in the 100 fly, has verbally committed to in-state Towson University and will suit up for the Tigers next fall.<\/p>\n

Primarily a butterflyer, Casolo does her club swimming with Monocacy Aquatic Club and most recently placed 18th in the 100m fly and 19th in the 200m fly at Geneva Futures this past summer. Last winter, she recorded four best times at Maryland SCY Seniors before going on to finish 10th in the 100 fly and 12th in the 200 fly at Christiansburg Speedo Sectionals.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am so exited to announce my commitment to swim and study at Towson University! I chose Towson because of the hardworking team atmosphere and strong coaching staff. The swim team at Towson feels like a family, and I can\u2019t wait to spend the next four years as a tiger!”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
