NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The NC State Wolfpack have landed their second verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season from in-state breaststroker Kaylee Hamblin\u00a0<\/strong>of Waxhaw, North Carolina, who will join\u00a0Grace Sheble<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Raleigh as a member of the class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Hamblin does her club swimming with Mecklenburg Swim Association and owns the Summer Juniors standard in both breaststroke events. She most recently placed 15th in the 100m breast at Junior Nationals this past summer after finishing fourth in that event as well as sixth in the 200m breast at North Carolina LCM Seniors. Last winter, she raced to eighth in the 100 breast at Juniors East before going on to earn a best time at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Richmond.<\/p>\n

A current junior at Parkwood High School, Hamblin has won the 100 breast at the North Carolina 3A State Championships during both her freshman and junior seasons. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice in her career thus far.<\/p>\n
