BRADSHAW<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s <strong>Camden Murphy<\/strong>, a junior from Novi, Mich., scored 18 individual points to help Georgia\u2019s in their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/georgia-swimming-and-diving-sweeps-alabama-as-dakota-luther-puts-up-156-200-fly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">opening meet win over Alabama<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/georgiadogs.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=4197\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Murphy<\/a> swept the butterfly events with wins in the 100 (47.88) and 200 (1:46.69). His B-cut time in the 200 fly is the second fastest time in the nation, while his time in the 100 fly is the sixth fastest nationally.<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s Diver of the Week: Leonardo Garcia Varela, Missouri<\/h3>\n<p>Missouri\u2019s <strong>Leonardo Garcia Varela<\/strong>, a freshman from Cali, Columbia, swept both springboard events as the Tigers took home the 2019 Show-Me Showdown team title on Oct. 4. He took first on 1-meter with a score of 318.50 before completing the sweep with a win on 3-meter with 336.50 points, including two dives that earned 67.5 points.<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Ian Grum, Georgia<\/h3>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s <strong>Ian Grum<\/strong>, a freshman from Atlanta, Ga., scored 17 points in Georgia\u2019s win over Alabama. Grum took first in the 200 back with a time of 1:45.88, the fourth fastest time in the nation. He posted the fifth fastest time in the nation in the 400 IM (3:53.64) and with his split in the 200 medley relay (22.69). In the opening meet at FIU, McCool took first in the 1-meter (302.33) and second in the 3-meter (285.83).
