NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Minneapolis, Minn. native\u00a0Elle Niebuhr\u00a0<\/strong>has opted to stay in-state for her college career after verbally committing to the University of Minnesota beginning in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Niebuhr swims year-round with Edina Swim Club and most recently competed in six events at NCSAs this past summer after finaling in a pair of events at Minneapolis Sectionals. Last winter, she had a strong showing at NCSAs and raced at the Speedo Grand Challenge.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Minneapolis Southwest High School, Niebuhr is a three-time Minnesota Class AA State Championship finalist. She earned bronze in the 500 free and took 10th in the 200 free as a junior after finishing third in the former event during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
