At Columbia Speedo Sectionals in March, she raced six events en route to finishing 22nd in the 200 IM after placing 17th in the 500 free at the Missouri Valley SCY Championships. She also competed in three races at 2018 Rochester Futures.<\/p>\n<p>A current senior at Olathe North High School, Lam is a six-time Kansas 6A State Championship finalist. She finished fourth in the 200 IM and fifth in the 100 free as a junior after earning gold and silver, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season. She also won the 200 IM during her rookie campaign.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>&#8220;I am beyond excited to announce my decision to further my athletic and academic careers at Missouri State University! She finished 10th in the 50m free, 11th in the 200m free, and 12th in the 400m free this past summer at Minnesota LCM Seniors after recording a pair of best times at Minneapolis Sectionals. Last winter, she raced six events at Indianapolis Speedo Sectionals.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Sauk Rapids Rice High School, Lucas is a five-time Minnesota Class A State Championship finalist. She placed third in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 free during her junior season after racing to fourth and seventh, respectively, in those events as a sophomore.
