NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Utah Utes have received a verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from versatile\u00a0Amber Gardner\u00a0<\/strong>of San Ramon, Calif.<\/p>\n

Gardner does her club swimming with Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks and most recently placed fifth in the 400m IM and sixth in the 100m fly at LCM Far Westerns this past summer. Last winter, she recorded a pair of best times at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals before going on to earn gold in the 200 free at SCY Far Westerns.<\/p>\n

Also competing for California San Ramon High School, Gardner is a six-time CIF North Coast Sectional meet finalist. She placed eighth in both the 200 free and 500 free as a junior after racing to sixth and fifth, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n
