But the high school freshman is more than a phenomenal swimmer. The straight-A student solves Rubik\u2019s Cubes in 30 seconds, plays the cello, takes hip-hop dance classes, and placed third in the Arizona district cross country championships!<\/p>\n<p>In July, Keaton swam a 2:01.20 200 meter backstroke\u2014more than a second under the OT cut of 2:02.99 and faster than Aaron Peirsol\u2019s legendary 13-14 boys\u2019 record of 2:02.78 set in 1998, which was first broken last March by Flood Aquatics\u2019 (Fla.) Joshua Zuchowski (2:00.97).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9c8d0e;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cKeaton is an extremely hard-working athlete both in and out of the water,\u201d says his coach, Alex Popa. \u201cHe is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and he always keeps a positive attitude.
