NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Florida State University has picked up a new verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from\u00a0Ashley Zettle<\/strong> of Southlake, Texas.<\/p>\n

Primarily a mid-distance freestyler, Zettle swims year-round with Lakeside Aquatic Club and most recently placed 20th in the 200m free at Des Moines Futures this past summer. At College Station Sectionals last winter, she finaled in the 200m free and recorded two personal best times.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Carroll Senior High School, the NISCA All-American is a four-time Texas 6A State Championship finalist. Zettle raced to seventh in the 200 free and ninth in the 500 free as a junior after finishing 10th and seventh, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
