NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Chattanooga, Tenn. native Avery Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>has pledged her verbal commitment to Marshall University and will join the Herd as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Wilson swims year-round with Baylor Swim Club and most recently recorded a best time at Greensboro Futures this past summer after finishing 16th in the 50m fly at the Southeastern LCM Championships. Last winter, she notched 100% best times at NCSAs where she competed in four different events. Also competing for Baylor School, Wilson placed 14th in the 100 fly during both her sophomore and junior seasons at the TISCA State Championships.<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Marshall University! I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me along the way! I can\u2019t wait to be a part of this amazing team for the next 4 years!
