NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Denver has scored a verbal commitment from three-time Winter Juniors qualifier\u00a0Ethan Houck\u00a0<\/strong>of Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

Primarily a distance freestyler, Houck does his club swimming with Sandpipers of Nevada and capped off his summer long course season by winning the 1500m free at GWCA Senior Regionals. Last winter, he competed in seven events and recorded five best times at the KMSC Pro-Am meet. Also competing for Palo Verde High School, Houck finished fifth in both the 200 free and 500 free as a junior after racing to fourth in the latter during his sophomore season at the Nevada 3A\/4A State Championships.<\/p>\n

He told Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am both proud and excited to be part of University of Denver\u2019s class of 2024. This University offers me the best of athletics, academics, and camaraderie that I\u2019ve always wanted in a collegiate program. I can\u2019t wait to be a Pioneer!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
