NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Texas Christian University has received a verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from in-state Winter Juniors qualifier Charlie Brennig\u00a0<\/strong>of Houston.<\/p>\n

Brennig swims year-round with Swim Houston Aquatics Center and most recently placed seventh in the 1500m free and eighth in the 800m free at NCSAs this past summer. At NCSAs last March, he raced four events after earning 100% best times at Gulf Swimming Southern Seniors in November. A current senior at The Kinkaid School, Brennig also earned gold in the mile at the 2019 Gulf LCM Summer Championships.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“Excited to announce my commitment to swim at TCU in the fall of 2020. Thankful for my family, coaches, and friends for helping me get to where I am now and especially thankful for the TCU family making me feel so welcome.
