Last winter, she placed eighth in the 200 back at Virginia SCY Seniors before going on to race seven events at NCSAs.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Courtland High School, Storen is a six-time Virginia 4A State Championship finalist. She finished fourth in the 100 back and 11th in the 200 free as a junior after racing to eighth in the 200 free and 11th in the 100 free during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>\u201dI am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim for Johns Hopkins!! I am so thankful to be a part of such an amazing team with such passionate and dedicated individuals. I am so grateful to my family, coaches, and teammates who have supported me along this journey. I can&#8217;t wait to continue to improve athletically and academically. I truly am in love with this university and its culture! Go Blue Jays!!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 28.03<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 57.34<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:02.48<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:09.60<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:52.03<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When she suits up for the Blue Jays as a member of the class of 2024, Storen will add her talents to training groups that&#8217;ll include\u00a0<strong>Sydney Okubo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Carmela Irato<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Mikayla Bisignaini<\/strong>.
