NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Pepperdine University has received their first verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from in-state swimmer\u00a0Taylor Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>of Pleasant Hills, Calif.<\/p>\n

Thomas does her club swimming with Orinda Aquatics and competed in the 100m back and 100m fly at Far Westerns this past summer. She was the 100 fly runner-up at the WCAB Senior Winter meet in December before going on to record three best times at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals in March. A current senior at College Park, Thomas has competed at the CIF North Coast Section Championships each of her three high school seasons so far, recently placing 14th in the 100 fly as a junior.<\/p>\n
