Andrew is the father of Breakers swimmer\u00a0<strong>Michael Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>and is also the wife of general manager\u00a0<strong>Tina Andrew<\/strong>, so this comes as no surprise.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew built Ultra-Sprint Race Pace Training (USRPT) into his coaching regimen for his son from an early age, which helped Michael claim numerous national age group records. <a href=\"https:\/\/coachsci.sdsu.edu\/swim\/bullets\/49DEFINED.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">This paper from Brent Rushall explains the origins of USRPT and how it developed over five decades.<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Peter Andrew will be joined on staff by\u00a0<strong>Wayne Riddin<\/strong>, who coaches NCAA champion <strong>Brad Tandy\u00a0<\/strong>and World University Games gold medalist <strong>Tayla Lovemore<\/strong>.
