She competed in three events at Juniors West last winter before going on to finish fifth in the 100 breast at Phoenix Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n<p>A current senior at Cherry Creek High School, Drury is a five-time Colorado 5A State Championship finalist. She raced to sixth in the 100 breast and 11th in the 200 IM as a junior after taking ninth and 12th, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>\u201cI am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swim career at <span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue;\">the University of Hawai\u2019i at M\u0101noa! I have been so blessed by my family, friends, and coaches that have helped me get to where I am today and I am forever grateful for them! I cannot wait to be a Rainbow Wahine! I am not going alone though!! At Phoenix Sectionals in March, she recorded three lifetime bests and her highest finish was a seventh-place showing in the 100 breast.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Arapahoe Senior High School, Wetzel is a four-time Colorado 5A State Championship finalist.
