Stott<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Aquajets Swim Team, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., has an enviable history. It is currently a USA Swimming Gold Medal club, and it\u2019s been Gold or Silver every year since 2012. It has produced the likes of 2012 Olympic gold medalist Rachel Bootsma, nine-time NCAA All-American Abby Duncan, Big Ten stalwart Van Donkersgoed and current national team member Isabelle Stadden.<\/p>\n<p>Those athletes weren\u2019t always that good. These days new Aquajets age groupers benefit from an impressive three-pool onsite practice facility. Integral to the shallow water training component is a four-lane, 85-degree \u201cshark tank\u201d pool ideal for younger swimmers and in-water coaching.<\/p>\n<p>Megan Hughes is an Aquajets lead age group coach. Following she offers insight on what a youngster with some summer league success can expect when deciding to try a year-round program.<\/p>\n<p>The Aquajet BLUETHUNDER practice group is made up of swimmers ages 10 and under.
