NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Florida State University has earned a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Bettendorf, Iowa native and current high school senior\u00a0Arianna Ottavianelli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ottavianelli, who has achieved the Winter Juniors time standard in the 100 breast, swims year-round with the Iowa Flyers Swim Club and most recently placed fourth in the 100m fly at the Iowa LCM Championships. Last winter, she recorded five top-12 finishes at the ISI Senior meet en route to notching a best time in the 100 fly.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Bettendorf High School, Ottavianelli is a six-time Iowa State Championship finalist. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was the 200 IM runner-up and placed fourth in the 100 breast as a junior after earning the silver medal in both of those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
