top junior swimmers in the world vied for world titles.<\/p>\n<p>The session began with the women\u2019s 50 backstroke, followed by the men\u2019s 50 fly, the women\u2019s 400 free, the men\u2019s 200 breast and the women\u2019s 200 IM before the relay of the day, the men\u2019s 4&#215;200 free relay.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a junior title got off to an intriguing start to kick off the fourth day of competition.<\/p>\n<p>Canada\u2019s <strong>Jade Hannah<\/strong> and Australia\u2019s <strong>Bronte Job<\/strong> tied for the top seed in 28.02 and will head into the semifinals with identical times.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of other swimmers were within striking distance as Australia\u2019s <strong>Mollie O\u2019Callaghan<\/strong> took the third seed in 28.24 and Russia\u2019s <strong>Daria Vaskina<\/strong> took the fifth spot (28.34).<\/p>\n<p>Another tie put two swimmers in the sixth seed as Israel\u2019s <strong>Anastasia Gorbenko<\/strong> and USA\u2019s <strong>Annabel Crush<\/strong> each touched the wall in 28.74.<\/p>\n<p>USA\u2019s <strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong> rounded out the in 23.45.<\/p>\n<p>It was a hundredth of a second ahead of the top entry time of 23.46 by <strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> of Italy, who tied for the eighth seed.<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s <strong>Luca Armbruster<\/strong> took the second seed in 23.75, followed by Russia\u2019s<strong> Aleksandr Shchegolev<\/strong> (23.77) and Brazil\u2019s <strong>Bernardo Bondra<\/strong> (23.83).<\/p>\n<p>Bulgaria\u2019s <strong>Josif Miladinov<\/strong> was fifth in 23.87, followed by USA\u2019s <strong>Blake Manoff<\/strong> (24.04) and Belarus\u2019 <strong>Arseni<\/strong>
